So at work I have been tasked to create a monthly “calendar” of events (pretty much just a list with anything special going on in the library that month) for the Fall semester. Pretty normal stuff. So I decided I wanted to give each month a theme and use this opportunity to perform some neat typographical exploration. I’ll be Illustrating the months from August to December in different styles according to whatever obscure national monthly holiday I find.
August will be National Inventor’s Month. September might be banned books to celebrate Banned Books week at the library, but we’ll see.
